Tenant Resources
At SolidGround Property Management, we believe clear information and communication help create a positive rental experience. Our Tenant Resources provide helpful information and guidance for tenants living in our professionally managed homes, including our independent co-living homes for veterans.
YOUR TENANCY
Tenants can expect a professionally managed, stable, respectful, peaceful, and well-maintained home environment. Because this is an independent co-living
residence, certain areas of the home are shared, and tenants are expected to respect the property, shared spaces, privacy, and personal belongings of others. SolidGround Property Management provides clear expectations for cleanliness, respectful conduct, quiet hours, shared spaces, guests, and care of the property. Tenants are expected to take responsibility for their space, their conduct, and their guests while helping maintain a comfortable and respectful household.
Tenants are responsible for following the terms of their lease or rental agreement and the applicable property rules. Tenants are also responsible for
their own conduct, their guests, and the proper use and care of the property. This includes reporting damage or maintenance concerns promptly, following
household expectations, and taking reasonable care to prevent damage, safety concerns, or conditions that could affect the property or other tenants.
Tenants may be held responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests, as permitted by the lease and applicable law.
Co-living requires consideration, respect, and cooperation. Tenants are expected to respect the privacy, personal belongings, and shared spaces of others while keeping noise and disruptions to a reasonable level. Tenants are expected to clean up after themselves, keep shared areas orderly, follow the household rules, and communicate concerns respectfully. Each tenant plays a part in maintaining a peaceful, comfortable, and well-kept home.
Tenants should contact SolidGround Property Management with questions or concerns regarding their tenancy, the property, or household matters. We encourage tenants to communicate concerns promptly so they can be addressed appropriately and efficiently. SolidGround Property Management is committed to clear, professional communication throughout the tenancy.
PROPERTY CARE
Tenants are expected to leave the kitchen clean and ready for the next person after each use. Dishes, cookware, and utensils should be cleaned promptly, and
counters, tables, sinks, and other surfaces should be wiped down. Food should be stored properly, spills should be cleaned immediately, and expired or spoiled food should be disposed of promptly. Food, crumbs, and dirty dishes should not be left unattended, as maintaining proper food storage and cleanliness helps prevent roaches and other pests. Tenants are also expected to respect other tenants’ food and personal belongings and never take or use them without permission
Tenants are expected to treat the property, furnishings, and household items with care and use them appropriately. Tenants should promptly report any
damage or maintenance concerns to SolidGround Property Management. Tenants may be responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests, as
permitted by the lease and applicable law. Normal wear and tear is not considered tenant-caused damage
Tenants may have daytime visitors as permitted by the lease and household rules. Tenants are responsible for the conduct of their guests and must ensure
that visitors respect the property, other tenants, and the household environment. Overnight guests are not permitted. Visitors may not stay overnight, remain at
the property for extended periods, or establish residence at the property. All visitors must leave the property within the permitted daytime visiting period
No. The property is a pet-free zone. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the property. Tenants may not bring, keep, or house pets, and guests may not bring
